POSITION: Community Programs Policy Advisor
TERM:Two-year full-time term (based on funding), with the opportunity for renewal
HOURS OF WORK: Regular full-time – 35 hours per week
REPORTS TO: Director of Programs & Services
WAGE RANGE: $36–$41 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Programs Policy Advisor leads the development, review, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and program frameworks across Community Services, ensuring they are culturally grounded, operationally practical, and aligned with governance direction, funding agreements, and regulatory requirements.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Guided by the Nation’s vision, values, and commitment to community wellbeing, the Community Programs Policy Advisor supports the development of strong, responsive, and culturally grounded programs and services.
This role is responsible for leading the development and review of policies, procedures, and program frameworks that strengthen service delivery across Community Services. Working closely with staff, leadership, and community members, the Advisor ensures policies reflect community priorities, support effective operations, and align with governance, funding, and regulatory requirements.
