POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Director of Child & Family Services, the Youth Manager provides leadership for programs and initiatives that support and empower young people. This role advances community well-being by strengthening engagement with youth and families, reducing barriers to participation, and increasing access to safe, positive opportunities that support healthy development. The Youth Manager supports the youth team in delivering culturally grounded and responsive services, including outreach, case coordination, crisis and emergency support, and connections to housing, education, and employment resources.
The Youth Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating youth programs for Tsawout First Nation. This includes coordinating activities that promote personal development, learning, leadership, and social skills for youth ages 12–25. This position contributes to the effective delivery of prevention and family support services by working in partnership with the Child & Family Services team and community partners to ensure programs are inclusive, culturally grounded, and responsive to community needs.
