POSITION: YOUTH WORKER
HOUR OF WORK: PART-TIME, PERMANENT (15 hours per week, minimum)
REPORTS TO: YOUTH COORDINATOR & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
WAGE RANGE: $18 - $20 per hour
PROGRAM SUMMARY: Tsawout First Nation (TFN) is a vibrant and culturally rich community nestled in the heart of the Saanich Peninsula. We are committed to providing comprehensive social services to our members, ensuring their well-being and fostering a strong sense of community. Our Wellness Department plays a pivotal role in achieving these goals, and we are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting the Wellness Youth Coordinator in the implementation of the Tsawout Youth Strategic Plan (including programming and policy) in a manner consistent with the mission, mandate, and goals of Tsawout First Nation.
