POSITION: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
REPORTS TO: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Manager
WAGE RANGE: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) is responsible for the development and delivery of culturally informed, developmentally appropriate programming to support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5. Reporting to the ECE Manager, the ECE provides holistic support to children in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, ensuring high-quality early learning and childcare services that support healthy child development, school readiness, family wellbeing, and long-term community wellness.
The ECE works in collaboration with families, community members, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers to integrate Indigenous cultural values and language into childcare programming.
